Luanne Johnson – I am a nurse practitioner, graduated from Duke University. Although I deal with all illnesses, I have a fascination with asthma and allergy. I have been in healthcare since 1979. |
 |
Peggy Hirte, ARNP – I was born at Sacred Heart Hospital in Fort Madison, lived in West Point with my parents (Marcella Menke and Al Kempker) and twelve siblings until eight years of age, until I moved to Arizona with many members of my family. Since I was very young I know I wanted to be a nurse. I began working in the kitchen at Mesa General Hospital as a dishwasher at age seventeen. I worked every job on my way up the ladder that didn’t require a license. At thirty years of age I began the nursing program after returning to this area. Three children and 15 years later – here I am, doing what I have always dreamed of and more. |

VT Woodbury, ARNP - I am a Board Certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Specialist or nurse-psychotherapist. I have been engaged in a counseling practice called Awareness Center for the last 17 years, assisting people with a variety of emotional and mental health issues. I serve individuals who are struggling to cope with life events, physical or mental illness, couples with relationship issues, families , and groups. I also consult with organizations about more effective system functioning. In most cases, people first become aware of what hasn’t been working for them, and then explore ways to make it better. I am holistic in my work, seeing people as physical, psychological, social and spiritual beings in constant interaction with the environment. The source of a problem can be in any of these arenas, as may be the solution.
I am pleased to be located within the family practice of Dr. David Wenger-Keller. To reach me call 319 372-9370. Call me “Vickie.” |
